A steel mill hired a contractor to demolish a pump house. The 30-foot-high, three-foot thick brick wall with steel beams caved in on the contractor’s 42 year-old employee crushing his hips and lower extremities. The Plaintiff ’s doctors testified he was permanently disabled and would never walk again.
