The Plaintiff sued for property damage and business interruption losses as a result of a fire allegedly caused by the Defendant’s negligence in failing to connect a fire suppression bypass system to a newly installed fryer. A Co-Defendant was also alleged to be negligent in failing to shut down the establishment after an inspection noted that the bypass system was not connected. After a four-day trial the jury returned a defense verdict. |
